Twelve Life Lessons

1/ Accept everything that comes into your life as a gift; something you can learn from.

2/ Avoid comparisons with others; you are your own person who stands in your own light.

3/ Try to cultivate gratitude as a daily practice for all you have been given and all you can achieve.

4/ Make certain you learn from your mistakes otherwise you might end up repeating them.

5/ Stop blaming others and take ownership of your life.

6/ Cope with forgiveness otherwise you might be forever imprisoned in your own grief.

7/ Reinvigorate old friendships but also make an effort to meet new friends.

8/ Treat everyone with equal respect, we are all of value.

9/ Be prepared to expose yourself to risk otherwise you jeopardize your own personal growth.

10/ Don’t waste time, it’s the most valuable commodity you have.

11/ Take timeout out for yourself and engage in relaxation techniques to reinvigorate and renew the body and mind.

12 / Remain positive and optimistic – you only have one life so live it fully, courageously!

GOOD LUCK!

William Wordsworth

The world is too much with us; late and soon,
Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers;
Little we see in Nature that is ours;
We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!
This Sea that bares her bosom to the moon,
The winds that will be howling at all hours,
And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers,
For this, for everything, we are out of tune.
